About the Service

Fast Delivery is a new shipping method that offers a ‘same day’ delivery service. You can now get your orders even faster!

During checkout, enter your delivery address and select Fast Delivery to check availability. If it is available for your order, you will be presented with available delivery options to choose from.

Select your preferred option and complete your transaction. Once your order is placed, we will notify you of your order’s progression.

Please remember that you must be home to receive your order, as orders cannot be left unattended for this new service.

If you are not home when the driver is trying to deliver your order, it will be returned to a local Chemist Warehouse store for collection. You will be informed with store collection details and instructions if this occurs.

Please note: Delivery fees will not be refunded in this event.

At this time, medicines cannot be delivered using Fast Delivery.

You will be presented with two of the four options below to choose from during checkout:

  • Today within 3 hours
  • Today by 6pm
  • Tomorrow within 3 hours (based on when the store opens)
  • Tomorrow by 6pm

The two options you will be presented will depend on the time of day you place an order. If we know we are unable to fulfil your order on the same day in time, we will offer you the options to deliver by tomorrow.

No, Fast Delivery is not available on Public Holidays, however you can still place orders to be delivered for the next day (If the following day is also a Public Holiday, the order will be fulfilled on the next non-Public Holiday day).

Payments will be processed during completion of the checkout process. However, some transaction times may vary depending on the payment method chosen. You will receive communications from us to inform you when payments have successfully processed.

For all Fast Delivery order queries, please contact the store your order was fulfilled in. The store contact details can be found in your Order Delivered email or Order Tracking page once the order has been delivered. Yes, the prices for each option will be displayed after you select Fast Delivery during the checkout process. The fees will vary depending on the two available options you are presented to choose from.

No, at this time Free Shipping promotions, including the Free Shipping on Orders Over $50, only apply to orders shipped in Australia via Australian Post.

Order Processing

Please ensure you place your order before the following times to receive them the same day.

Express Order Delivered Within 3 Hours

  • Weekdays – Orders placed before 4pm
  • Weekends – Orders placed before 2pm

Same Day Orders Delivered By 6pm

  • Weekdays – Orders placed before 11am.
  • Weekends – Orders placed before 11am.

We will notify you via email and mobile SMS. If you have a Chemist Warehouse account, you will be able to track your order progress by going to your account profile page and selecting ‘Track Your Order’ next to your active processing order.

Unfortunately, there may be times we realise we don’t have the stock you have ordered. We will notify you via email and mobile SMS to choose either to Continue Order without the items unavailable or Cancel Order. In any event, you will be refunded the applicable amount depending on the chose you make.

Please note: We will not be able to continue to process your order until you have selected a choice. We will not be able to guarantee same day delivery or next day delivery in the event of a Short Pick Order.

Depending on when the store receives your response, we may not be able to guarantee same day delivery. If this occurs, your order will be scheduled to be delivered the next day. We must ensure that our delivery partners will have enough time to deliver your order.

Receiving an Order

You will need to be home to receive the delivery and verbally confirm your Identity. The health and safety of our customers and drivers is our priority, which is why we have a ‘zero contact’ delivery process.

The driver will place your order on a safe surface in front of your door and will then ring your doorbell. The driver will then move back to a safe distance (1.5m ‐ 2m away) and confirm your full name.

Only the person who places the order can receive the order. At this time, we do not offer the option to nominate a different recipient.

If you are not home, your order will be returned to a local Chemist Warehouse store for collection. If this occurs, we will contact you via Email and mobile SMS with store details and instruction on how to collect your order.

Please note: Delivery fees will not be refunded in this event.

Refund and Cancellations

You can cancel your order from the time the order is placed until the order is ready for pickup by our partnered drivers.

To cancel the order, you will be able to access this option via the Order Confirmation email or by logging in to your Chemist Warehouse account profile and choosing Cancel Order next to the relevant order.

Alternatively, you can contact our friendly Customer Service team by calling 1300 367 283 as soon as possible.

Alternatively, contact the store that fulfilled your order. The store details will be found in your Order Delivered email and Order Tracking page.

Please note: You will need to bring the necessary products in question, proof of purchase and identification with you.

Orders Returned To Store

If you order is returned to a store, we will contact you via Email and mobile SMS with store details and instructions for pickup.

Please note: Delivery fees will not be refunded in this event.

For security reasons when collecting your order in-store please make sure you bring the following:

  • Fast Delivery Order Failed email for your order
  • Credit card that was used to purchase the products (if a credit card was used)
  • Photo ID: includes Drivers licence, passport, proof of age card, government or armed services identification card.

Yes, a Fast Delivery order that has been returned to store for collection can be cancelled up until the order has been marked as collected. To cancel your order, log in to your Chemist Warehouse account page using your email and password and there will be an option to cancel your order after logging in. Alternatively contact the Customer Services team on 1300 367 283 or contact us at [email protected].

After cancelling your order, the payment due will be cancelled accordingly.
